Total Inventory Management (TIM) Officer Jobs Description
This is a challenging role in a complex environment. KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
The post holder would be asked to go through a training process at SCI CO with the Commodity Manager, Online with the Product Manager; in order for her/him to have full understanding of all software’s functionalities.
Key accountabilities
Preparation’s phase:
Develop training material in English
With the support of the Head of Supply Chain, Commodity Manager and Product Manager, identify field locations with the higher needs
Accordingly, prepare a training schedule in collaboration with field offices
Implementation:
Organize a workshop in all locations with relevant stakeholder
Identify a “TIM champion” in each office and provide extra training to her/him, including a support/implementation visit to their warehouses
Advise and develop with country office on implementation strategies
In collaboration with Head of Supply Chain and Director of Operations, identify potential gaps or needs (i.e.: IT equipment, internet, TIM trainings …) and accordingly potential resolutions to these needs.
Develop with the Country Head of Supply Chain and the TIM champions, an action plan with clear activities and deadlines; including a reporting schedule
Provide a comprehensive report to the Country Head of Supply Chain, and Director of Operations when required.
Upload all Goods received notes for all GIKs received in the two Areas.
Monitoring and support:
Be the focal point for the country and consolidate reports
Report to the region and centre stakeholders on progress or issues
Ensure that each field offices are following their action plans and report in a timely manner.
Coordinate & support Awards, Finance & Operation with TIM related transations including monthly reconcilaitions and Award closure
Any other Task assigned by line Manager

QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Procurement and Logistics Management, Business Administration and Management, Information Technology or related Discipline.
Recommended a minimum of 1-3 years of progressive responsibility in Supply Chain and administration 2 of which are spent in an international development organization
Robust experience of warehousing and inventory procedures and processes
Good organizational and management skills including problem solving;
Knowledge of international humanitarian systems and procedures, institutions and donors.
Ability to analyse information, evaluate options and to think and plan strategically
Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Excellent IT skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles including rights-based approaches
Willingness and ability to work in a collaborative and inclusive manner.
